EU, Norway condemn Pakistan’s attack on Kabul drug addict hospital
The European Union Commission called last night’s attack by the Pakistani military regime on a drug treatment center in Kabul a “clear violation of international law” and emphasized the need to protect health centers and patients.
The commission stated that such facilities should never be targeted and called for an immediate reduction in tensions, restraint, a ceasefire, and the resumption of dialogue.
The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also expressed deep regret over the civilian casualties in this health center and emphasized that health centers and patients should not be targeted by attacks.
Norway called on Afghanistan and Pakistan to exercise restraint, cease hostilities, and return to dialogue to resolve cross-border security concerns.
