Ukrainian drone attack on Russian oil facilities, massive fire at Tatarstan oil transfer center

Ukrainian drone strikes last night hit a key oil transportation hub in the Russian republic of Tatarstan, causing a massive fire at the facility.

Images and videos released from the scene show huge flames and thick black smoke rising from the oil facilities, and firefighting operations are still ongoing.

Local authorities in Tatarstan announced that the drone attack temporarily disrupted oil transportation operations, but there have been no reports of casualties so far.

The attack is part of a wave of Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian energy infrastructure in recent weeks, aimed at reducing Moscow’s oil revenues and putting pressure on the Russian economy.
