The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the country’s air defense systems intercepted and shot down 149 Ukrainian drones over various regions of Russia last night.
According to the Defense Ministry, the drones were mainly targeted in the Bryansk region of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, and none of them reached their targets.
This number of downed drones is one of the highest nightly figures in recent months and reflects the intensity of Ukrainian drone attacks in recent operations against Russian territory.
The Russian Defense Ministry stressed that defense forces are on full alert and that no casualties or damage to infrastructure have been reported from the attacks.
