High-level delegation of the Islamic Emirate visits Belarus, focusing on expanding industrial, agricultural and trade cooperation
A high-level delegation headed by Ahmed Jan Bilal, President of Emirati Companies, along with Abdul Rahman Attash, CEO of the National Development Company, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the technical team of the National Development Company traveled to Belarus.
Nabi Arghandiwal, spokesman for the National Development Company, announced that the Afghan delegation met with officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Ministry of Industry of Belarus during this visit and discussed bilateral political, economic, and trade issues.
The program of visits included meetings with major state-owned and industrial enterprises of Belarus, including MAZ (truck manufacturer), BELAZ (heavy mining machinery), MTZ (tractor plant), AMKODOR (road and agricultural machinery), the Academy of Sciences, the Minsk Electrotechnical Plant (National Academy of Sciences), the State Agricultural Chemicals Department of the State Agricultural Chemicals Department, and the farms of the Ministry of Agriculture in the livestock sector.
The two sides agreed to strengthen and expand cooperation and technical exchanges in the fields of industry and agricultural machinery, construction materials, food safety, public health, and education.
