Greenland’s Foreign Minister: Results of negotiations with the US are still uncertain and there is a long road ahead
Greenland’s Foreign Minister announced in an interview with the media that the ongoing negotiations with the United States have not yet reached a final conclusion and that the road ahead is long.
“We haven’t gotten where we want to be yet. There’s a long way to go, so it’s too early to say where we’ll end up,” he added.
The Foreign Minister of Greenland emphasized that the start of negotiations with the United States was a positive step, but its results are still unknown and no definitive judgment can be made at this stage.
These statements come as Greenland, an autonomous territory of Denmark, has been at the center of media and diplomatic attention in recent months due to Donald Trump’s controversial statements about America’s interest in controlling or purchasing the region.
