Trump: “Peace Council” headed by me may replace the UN in the future

In response to a reporter’s question, US President Donald Trump announced that the “Peace Council” under his leadership could replace the United Nations in the future.

In these statements, which were published by international media, Trump described the United Nations as “somewhat useless” and said that this institution should have been responsible for resolving wars that, according to him, were resolved by the US President, that is, himself.

Without providing further details, he referred to the functioning of his proposed Peace Council and presented it as a possible alternative to the United Nations.

Trump has previously repeatedly criticized the inefficiency of the United Nations and raised the idea of creating new mechanisms under US leadership.

These statements are made while discussions about the role of the United States in international peace initiatives, especially in the Middle East and Ukraine, continue and have resulted in different reactions from countries and international organizations.
