The Palestinian Ministry of Public Health in the Gaza Strip announced that the number of martyrs of the Zionist regime’s aggression against the strip has reached 71,409 martyrs and the number of injured has increased to 171,304.
According to the ministry’s report, 439 more Palestinian citizens have been martyred and 1,223 injured since the ceasefire was established.
Also, during this period, the bodies of 688 martyrs were pulled from under the rubble.
These statistics are being released while the search operation to find bodies buried under the rubble continues, and many areas of the Gaza Strip are still not fully accessible due to the severity of the destruction.
The humanitarian situation in Gaza continues to be reported as dire, with urgent medical, food and infrastructure reconstruction needs being felt acutely.
