Balkh Governor’s Office :Kazakhistan will build 200-bed hospital and several standard schools in Afghanistan

According to the press release of the Balkh Governor’s Office, Kazakh Ambassador to Afghanistan Gaziz Akbasov met with Mullah Mohammad Yousuf, the governor of the province, and announced that his country intends to build a standard hospital with a capacity of 200 beds and several standard schools in Afghanistan to strengthen health services.

The press release states that during the meeting, the two sides discussed expanding trade, economic, and humanitarian cooperation between Afghanistan and Kazakhstan.

The governor of Balkh welcomed the Kazakh ambassador and stressed that Afghanistan has entered a new stage of reconstruction and economic growth after nearly four decades of war and the Islamic Emirate is trying to establish comprehensive and constructive relations with the countries of the region.

The Kazakh ambassador also emphasized his country’s readiness to expand cooperation and stated that the goal of his visit was to strengthen trade relations, increase trade volume, and evaluate investment opportunities in Afghanistan.
