Dozens of political activists and human rights defenders gathered in front of the White House on Saturday, chanting slogans condemning the US government’s hostile policies against Venezuela.
Protesters emphasized that Washington’s sanctions, economic blockade, and military deployment in the Caribbean region under the pretext of combating drug trafficking are in fact a full-scale war against the Venezuelan people.
According to participants in the rally, these policies have caused severe economic and humanitarian pressures on millions of Venezuelan citizens and have presented their daily lives with serious challenges.
Protesters demanded an immediate end to US interventions and the lifting of unilateral sanctions against Caracas.
