Deadly fire at Indian entertainment center kills 23, injures 50
A gas cylinder explosion at a resort in the Indian state of Goa has killed at least 23 people and injured 50.
Local authorities said the incident occurred on Saturday evening and most of the victims died from suffocation caused by thick smoke.
Rescue teams are still at the scene, searching for the injured and transferring them to hospitals.
The exact cause of the explosion is still under investigation, but initial sources report the leak and explosion of several kitchen gas cylinders.
