Mullah Baradar warned that anyone who kills Afghan women and children will face a harsh response
Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, announced on Sunday,at an official ceremony of the Ministry of National Defense: “The enemies of Afghanistan should not martyr women, children, and innocent people; our nation has both historical memory and the power of calculation. Whoever sows bad seeds in this soil will be forced to reap the same.”
Emphasizing that Afghanistan will no longer allow past crimes to be repeated, he added: “We will defend our rights, our land, and our defenseless people, and no oppressor will be spared from accountability.”
These statements were made while numerous reports have been published in recent weeks of airstrikes and operations by foreign forces in various parts of the country, which have resulted in the martyrdom of a number of civilians, including women and children.
