French President Emmanuel Macron announced for the first time that the framework of European security guarantees for post-war Ukraine would include the participation of US forces.
Macron emphasized on Tuesday that these guarantees would not be limited to European forces and that the United States would also play a role.
These comments come as negotiations are underway on Ukraine’s future security architecture after reaching a peace agreement with Russia.
