Pakistani airstrike on Kandahar’s Spin Boldak district, no casualties
sources in Kandahar province reported that Pakistani warplanes carried out two airstrikes in the Vish area of Spin Boldak border district in recent hours.
The attacks, which are part of rising border tensions between Kabul and Islamabad, did not result in any casualties.
According to eyewitnesses and local sources, the airstrikes took place in the early hours of this morning (October 12) and were apparently aimed at positions suspected of being occupied by militants.
Spin Boldak district, located in the south of the country and bordering Pakistan’s Balochistan province, is a sensitive border area that has witnessed sporadic clashes and cross-border operations.
So far, the Islamic Emirate and Pakistani officials have not issued any official statement on the matter.
This silence comes as border tensions between the two countries have escalated in recent months due to mutual accusations of harboring militants, particularly the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
