A huge gathering of generations of Sayyids was held in Beirut in memory of Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah
The world’s largest scouting gathering, titled Generations of the Sayyid, was held on Sunday at the Kamil Chamoun Stadium in Beirut, with the attendance of more than 60,000 scouts.
This ceremony, which was organized by the Imam Mahdi (a.s.) Scout Association and with the slogan “We are true to our covenant, O Nasrallah,” was held to commemorate the anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, former Secretary General of Hezbollah, and Sayyid Hashem Safi al-Din, as well as to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the association’s founding.
Sheikh Naim Qassem, Secretary General of Hezbollah, stated in his speech at the gathering that the Scouting of Imam Mahdi (a.s.) works to educate generations, and Scouting means education and discipline based on the pure Islam of Muhammad.
“You carry a flag that will determine the path of your life, and we want you to resemble the pure example on earth that is the result of heavenly teachings,” he added.
