Pakistan once again calls on Islamic Emirate to take action against TTP
Pakistani Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan announced in a press conference on Friday that Pakistan prioritizes diplomacy despite the ongoing threats posed by terrorist hideouts and sanctuaries inside Afghanistan, and called on the Islamic Emirate to prevent the country’s soil from being used for attacks against Pakistan.
“Pakistan respects Afghanistan’s national sovereignty and remains committed to strengthening dialogue and cooperation with Afghanistan to address the common challenge of terrorism,” Khan said.
He described groups such as the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) as a common threat to regional peace and stability and emphasized the need for bilateral cooperation to eradicate these threats.
