China puts 35L stealth fighter hangars on public display for first time
State-run media outlet China Global Times reported that Beijing publicly unveiled the J-35 and J-358 stealth fighters for the first time on Sunday .
The unveiling was carried out by the official media of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA), and images of the semi-finished aircraft without paint were released at the Shenyang Aircraft Corporation (SAC) affiliated with the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC).
The 135, China’s first indigenous stealth fighter for aircraft carriers, recently successfully completed its first test flight and landing using an electromagnetic catapult on the country’s new aircraft carrier Fujian.
This fighter is designed as a pivotal part of stealth and anti-stealth combat operations, and its primary mission is to dominate air superiority.
However, it is also capable of carrying out attacks on land and sea targets and can intercept enemy aircraft, bombers, cruise missiles, and other aerial targets.
