Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on Friday evening (September 19, 2025) during a visit to the Motovilkha defense industry plant in the city of Perm that the production of some types of weapons in Russia has increased 30 times over the past two years.
During this visit, Putin got up close and personal with the country’s new weapons and military equipment and congratulated the factory workers on the occasion of Arms Industry Day.
The Kremlin announced that the plant is currently producing advanced artillery and multiple rocket launcher systems.
He emphasized that the quality of products has also improved and technologies have become modern and in demand.
