Russian drones shot down upon entering Polish territory

The Polish military says it has shot down Russian drones that entered its airspace during the invasion of Ukraine.

The Polish Army’s operational command said the drones were shot down on the morning of Wednesday,  describing the act as an act of aggression.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said Russian drone strikes in Ukraine were linked to several violations of Polish airspace.

Poland is a member of NATO, and this action is considered a serious threat to European countries.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed in an interview with CNN that he was aware of the report of Russian drones over Poland.

The Polish Army’s operational command announced in a statement that ground-based air defense systems and radar detection systems have reached the highest level of alert.

The number of Russian drones that have entered Polish territory is still unknown.
