An American Airlines passenger plane crashed on the runway at Denver International Airport yesterday, causing its left landing wing to catch fire.
According to airport officials, passengers were evacuated from the plane using an emergency inflatable slide and the Denver Fire Department extinguished the fire.
Several passengers underwent medical examinations and one person was taken to the hospital. Further details about the cause of the accident have not yet been released.
