The world’s fastest suicide drone, with a speed of 450 km/h, was introduced in Britain
MGI Engineering officially unveiled its next-generation drone, the SkyShark, at a live demonstration at Enstone Airfield in Oxfordshire on July 25 th.
This unmanned aerial system is designed for attack intelligence gathering missions and deception operations and can be used in GPS-free environments or high-risk areas.
The SkyShark drone comes in two versions, one of which uses a gas turbine engine developed by Argive Ltd and, according to MGI, offers fully autonomous operation.
The second version is powered by an electric ducted fan motor developed by Greenjets and designed for missions requiring high stealth.
During the official unveiling, MGI announced that the SkyShark can reach speeds of over 450 kilometers per hour, hit targets at ranges of up to 250 kilometers, and carry a 20-kilogram explosive warhead.
