US President Donald Trump expressed surprise at the summoning of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to court and called for the immediate cancellation of the trial or his pardon.
Noting that this is the first time a prime minister of this regime has been called to trial while in office, he stated, “We are fighting for the survival of Israel, and in the history of this regime, no one has fought as seriously and effectively as Netanyahu.”
Trump also criticized the judicial action, emphasizing that Netanyahu’s trial in a long-running case should be stopped.
