Russia will respond to the new EU sanctions package
According to the TASS news agency, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko announced that the country will take both defensive and countermeasures in response to the 18th package of EU sanctions.
In an interview with reporters, he emphasized: “We need to see what sanctions they have in mind; we will respond to these sanctions as we have responded appropriately to such measures before.”
“With these sanctions, they often shoot themselves in the foot, sometimes even higher… We avoid the approach of harming ourselves or cutting off the branch we are sitting on, but nevertheless, measures will be taken to counterattack, both defensive and counter-respondent.”
