According to Reuters, the UK Maritime Trade Operations Organisation (UKMTO) warned in a statement yesterday that it is aware of the increasing tensions in the Middle East, which could lead to an escalation of military activities with a direct impact on shipping.
The organization advised ships to exercise caution when passing through the Persian Gulf, Gulf of Oman, and Strait of Hormuz.
