The second round of Russia-Ukraine talks will be held today
Russia’s Sputnik news agency reported that the country’s delegation has flown to Istanbul to participate in the talks.
The composition of the Russian delegation to participate in these negotiations is not yet clear.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that the country’s delegation will be led by Defense Minister Rustam Umarov.
Zelensky also said that Ukraine has demanded a complete and unconditional ceasefire, the release of prisoners, and the return of abducted children in these talks.
He added that Ukraine also calls for dialogue at the highest level between the two sides, stressing that key issues can only be resolved by the leaders of the two countries.
The first round of talks between Russia and Ukraine was held in Istanbul, Türkiye on May 15 of this year;
