Following the unprecedented Ukrainian drone attack on Russia, conflicting reports have been published about the US’s knowledge of the attacks.
Ukrainian sources announced on Sunday evening that the country’s forces had carried out unprecedented attacks targeting dozens of Russian strategic bombers at several air bases.
In this regard, the American news outlet Axios reported that these drone attacks were carried out deep inside Russian territory, and images published on social media confirm this.
Ukrainian officials told the news outlet that the massive operation was planned and executed by Ukraine’s security services and had been planned for more than a year.
Informed sources told Axios that Ukrainian intelligence forces have flown attack drones from trailers that have been secretly stationed near Russian air bases, including in Siberia.
