Chinese government officials announced that at least five people were killed, 19 injured and six others missing after a massive explosion at a chemical factory in eastern China’s Shandong province.
Gaomi Yudao Chemical Company is located in an industrial park in Weifang City. The company produces pesticides as well as chemicals for sanitary purposes and, according to records, has more than 500 employees.
