Iran’s Revolutionary Leader and Pakistani Prime Minister Meet in Tehran
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Iranian People’s Revolution, said in a meeting with the Prime Minister of Pakistan that while there have always been temptations for Islamic countries to have ties with the Zionist regime in recent years, Pakistan has never been influenced by these temptations.
Mr. Khamenei emphasized that in a situation where warmongers in the world have many motives to create discord and war, the only thing that can ensure the security of the Islamic nation is unity among Islamic countries and the promotion of relations between these countries.
According to him, the situation in Gaza has reached a point where ordinary people in Europe and America are protesting their governments by holding demonstrations, but in these same circumstances, unfortunately, some Islamic governments are standing by the Zionist regime.
The Leader of the Iranian People’s Revolution added: Tehran and Islamabad can be influential in the Islamic world by working together.
The Pakistani Prime Minister, while appreciating Iran’s role in reducing tensions between Pakistan and India, said that the international community remained silent in the face of the tragedies in Gaza and did not take effective action.
