The cry for justice for Gaza rose from the heart of Europe
Thousands of people in Sweden, France and Germany demonstrated against their governments’ silence on Israel’s military attacks and blockade of Gaza.
People in Stockholm, Paris, and Berlin chanted “Freedom for Palestine” on Saturday, calling for the international community to intervene and end the genocide in Gaza.
In Paris, demonstrators protested the food crisis in Gaza with empty pots; slogans such as “Israel is a murderer, Macron is an accomplice” and “Genocide is taking place in Gaza, we will not remain silent” were chanted at the rally.
People in Berlin also criticized the German government’s financial support for Israel, calling the regime a “terrorist state.”
Demonstrators in Stockholm also chanted “No to Netanyahu’s plan” to protest the Swedish government’s silence on the genocide in Gaza.
