Trump and Putin’s two-hour conversation; “Ceasefire negotiations between Russia and Ukraine will begin immediately

US President Donald Trump announced that ceasefire talks between Russia and Ukraine “will begin immediately after a phone call with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.”

In a message on his social network known as Truth, Mr. Trump wrote that the call went very well and added: “Russia” wants to have extensive trade with the United States after the end of this disastrous bloodbath.

He added: “I immediately informed President Putin in a separate call, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, Ursula von der Leyen, European Commission President Emmanuel Macron, French President Giorgio Meloni, Italian Prime Minister Friedrich Mertes, German Chancellor, and Finnish President Alexander Staab, and the Vatican has also announced on behalf of the Pope that it will be very interested in hosting the negotiations, let this process begin!”
