The 58th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council will begin next week

The United Nations Human Rights Council has announced. whose 58th meeting to examine the human rights situation in the world will begin next Monday 24th of February, and this meeting will continue until the 16th of the next solar year.

UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights Richard Bennett will also present his report on the human rights situation in Afghanistan on Friday, the council said in a statement.

The meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, Geneva time, with the speech of Antonio Guterres, the Secretary General of the United Nations.

The UN Human Rights Council said Walker Turk would be followed by UN General Assembly President Philemon Young and Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis.
