The French Parliament on Thursday night (16th of January) seriously voted for Prime Minister Francois Bairro and the plan of the “Socialist Party” was defeated.
This was the first test of Bayeru’s minority government, and the far-right National Assembly party, led by Marine Le Pen, had announced that it would not support the plan.
This plan needed 288 votes to bring down Bayero’s government, but only 131 lawmakers voted for it.
Despite being freed from the danger of the vote of confidence of the Socialist Party, the Bayero government is still considered a weak government and is facing many difficulties for the approval of the 2025 fiscal year budget
