Philip Lazzarini, the Commissioner of the Relief Organization for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA), said that the real reason for banning UNRWA’s activities is not Israel’s claims about some of its employees, but Israel’s aim is to take the right of return from Palestinian refugees.
On October 28, the Knesset of the Israeli Parliame passed laws prohibiting UNRWA’s activities in the occupied Palestinian territories; These rules will be implemented at the end of next January.
Previously, the Zionist regime had accused some UNRWA employees of collaborating with Hamas in the Al-Aqsa storm operation.
