United Nations this year, 281 aid workers were killed around the world

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) says 281 aid workers will be killed around the world in 2024.

This institution has emphasized that this year has been the deadliest year for rescuers.

OCHA stressed the need to protect aid workers, adding that threats against humanitarian workers have been reported in areas such as Afghanistan, Gaza, Ukraine, South Sudan and Yemen.
