The Ministry of Defense of Russia announced in a statement on Wednesday (7th of August) that Ukraine lost 260 soldiers and 50 pieces of equipment in the attack on Kursk in the last 24 hours.
The ministry said Russian military units and border forces of the Federal Security Service of Russia continue to destroy Ukrainian armed forces in the border areas of Kursk and the operation is still ongoing.
However, Matthew Mellier, the spokesman of the ministry the US Foreign Ministry claimed shortly after this aggression was Ukraine that we tried to enter Russia through the border province of Kursk and we have no information.
