The Prime Minister of Hungary went to meet the Zelensky

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán arrived in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, on an unexpected visit on Tuesday (2th of July) to hold talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.

The spokesperson of the Hungarian Prime Minister wrote on the X social network, “The talks will focus on the possibility of achieving peace, as well as the issues of bilateral relations between Hungary and Ukraine.”

The visit of Mr. Orban, an outspoken critic of Western military aid to Ukraine, takes place a day after Hungary assumed the rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union.
