Hizam al-Assad, a member of the Ansarullah movement’s political bureau, said that Saudi Arabia has been trying to establish military formations and gatherings in Yemen over the past years.
According to him, Saudi Arabia had been trying to turn the city of Al-Mokha into a military center from the beginning, and Sanaa’s preemptive attacks were disappointing for Riyadh.
The Ansarullah official added that Saudi Arabia was surprised by the operations of the Yemeni armed forces in Sanaa and their precision in targeting the forces supported by Riyadh.
