The Jerusalem Geographic Center announced that an earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale shook southern Palestine and parts of Egypt.
Reuters also reported that residents of the Egyptian capital Cairo felt an earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale.
There have been no reports of casualties or possible damage from this earthquake so far.
