According to reports, Karim Khan, the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court who issued the arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has been removed from his position.
In 2024, Karim Khan issued an arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu and former Israeli Minister of War Yoav Gallant on charges of committing war crimes in Gaza.
Reports add that after the ruling, Karim Khan faced pressure and threats from the United States and the Zionist regime, and then a case was filed against him on charges of sexual misconduct.
In a special meeting at the United Nations headquarters in New York, representatives of the 125 member states of the International Criminal Court voted in favor of removing Karim Khan.
The vote followed a lengthy disciplinary process in which allegations of abuse made against Karim Khan by a former court employee were investigated.
Karim Khan has repeatedly denied and denied these allegations.
