Kazakhstan hosts UN Regional Center for Sustainable Development of Afghanistan and Central Asia
Kazakh media reported that Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has signed a law establishing a United Nations regional center aimed at promoting sustainable development in Afghanistan and Central Asian countries.
Based on this law, a United Nations regional center will be established in Almaty and will be responsible for coordinating and advancing sustainable development programs in Afghanistan and other Central Asian countries.
It is said that this center will play an important role in strengthening regional cooperation, economic development, and supporting sustainable programs in Afghanistan and countries in the region.
