An-32 military transport aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed while landing at the Jorhat air base in the state of Assam.
According to reports, the incident occurred as the plane approached the runway, and fire and rescue teams and military forces were immediately dispatched to the scene to contain the fire and conduct rescue operations.
No official statistics have been released yet on the number of injured passengers or possible casualties in the accident, and rescue operations are still ongoing.
The Indian Army has announced that a special investigation committee has been formed to investigate the cause of the incident and the results of the investigation will be announced after the investigation is completed.
