NATO begins large-scale air drills near Russian borders

The NATO alliance has begun a large-scale air exercise for the third time, with representatives from 19 member countries participating near the Russian borders.

The main stages of these military exercises will be held in Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, and Spain, and approximately 150 flights will be conducted daily by more than 150 aircraft, including AWACS aircraft.

According to the announcement of NATO Air Command, the exercise of employing air defense systems is also part of this exercise.

In recent years, Russia has repeatedly expressed concern about NATO’s increased military activities near its borders and has called for a reduction in the militarization process in Europe.
