In a message addressed to Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi called on him to save Lebanon from its “real enemy.”
In a message on the X social network, Araqchi wrote, referring to Aoun’s recent statements, “Based on Mr. Aoun’s words, it seems that it is Iran that has occupied part of Lebanese territory, displaced its citizens, and bombed this country every day.”
The Iranian Foreign Minister also emphasized: “If Lebanon were merely a bargaining tool for Iran, we would have reached an agreement long ago.”
In the end, he wrote to the Lebanese President: “Save Lebanon from your real enemy, Mr. President.”
