Iranian media have reported that the Islamic Republic of Iran has sent its response to the latest US proposal for ending the war through Pakistani mediation.
The Iranian state news agency has claimed that the negotiations at this stage will focus on ending the war and reducing tensions in the region.
At the same time, a source in the Iranian Foreign Ministry announced in an interview with the media that Tehran has confirmed sending a response to the recent US proposal, but no details have been published.
Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s ambassador to Russia, has also said that negotiations between Iran and the United States have not reached a deadlock and are continuing with Islamabad’s mediation.
He expressed hope that the talks would eventually reach a conclusion, emphasizing that political negotiations have continued for years in many global crises.
