OCHA:More than 94,000 people displaced as fighting between Afghanistan and Pakistan continues

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said fighting between Afghanistan and Pakistan continues, resulting in casualties, destruction of civilian infrastructure and restricted access to affected areas.

According to this organization’s report, more than 94,000 people have been displaced in the provinces of Khost, Kunar, Nangarhar, Paktia, Paktika, and Nuristan as a result of these conflicts.

OCHA has warned that the continuation of this situation could exacerbate the humanitarian crisis in border areas.
