The third meeting of the Doha Process Private Sector Working Group was held in Kabul

Hafiz Zia Ahmad, Acting Director of Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, announced that the third meeting of the Doha Process Private Sector Working Group was held in person and online hosted by the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) at the Grand Hotel in Kabul.

Representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Finance, Industry and Trade, Economy, Labor and Social Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and the Central Bank, along with representatives of UNAMA, relevant United Nations institutions, international and regional organizations, ambassadors and diplomats of several countries, and relevant experts attended the meeting in person and online.

The meeting was held in two main parts, the first part focusing on the issue of growth and inclusion, and the second part focusing on coordination and transparency.

Representatives of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan shared in this meeting the achievements and progress made in the country since the rule of the Islamic Emirate until now.

The participants, while appreciating the efforts and achievements of the Islamic Emirate, pointed out their cooperation in supporting the private sector and expressed their commitment to continuing sustainable and effective cooperation.

All parties presented proposals to address existing challenges and emphasized the need for greater coordination, convergence, and transparency in activities.
