Hezbollah Secretary General: We will determine the time for responding to the assassination of martyr Tabatabaei

Sheikh Naim Qassem, Secretary General of Lebanese Hezbollah, emphasized at the ceremony commemorating the martyr Sayyed Haitham Tabatabaei, Hezbollah’s senior commander and chief of staff, that we will determine the time and manner of responding to the assassination of martyr Sayyed Abu Ali Tabatabaei.

Referring to the prominent role of martyr Al-Tabatabai in the professional management of battles, he said, “The enemy’s goal in assassinating one of the most important figures on the battlefield was to hurt the spirit of resistance and create chaos, but this goal has not been achieved and will never be achieved.”

Sheikh Naim Qassem also accused the Lebanese government of failing to liberate the occupied territories and protect citizens, adding: “We are in a completely open field where the enemy operates easily in coordination with the American and international intelligence services and some Arab countries.”
