Najaf Ashraf mourns Hazrat Fatima Zahra (PBUH); Mourning begins for the second decade of martyrdom

As the days of the martyrdom of Hazrat Sadiqah Tahirah Fatima Zahra (peace be upon her), the holy city of Najaf Ashraf witnessed the beginning of the mourning ceremonies of the second decade of Fatimah last night.

Mourning delegations from all over Iraq and pilgrims from different countries headed to the holy shrine of Commander of the Faithful Ali (AS) with black flags and “O Fatima” headbands, and the courtyard and hall of the Alawi shrine were immersed in mourning and mourning.

At night, groups of mourners, beating their chests and wearing chains, move from the old alleys of Najaf towards the shrine, and the sound of “O Fatima, O Fatima” echoes throughout the city and sky of Najaf until dawn.

This ceremony will continue until the martyrdom day of Hazrat Zahra (PBUH), according to the narration, 95 days (13th of Jamadi al-Awwal).
