The vital 500 kV Sheberghan-Dasht Alvan power transmission line project is 95 percent complete
Breshna Company announced that the 500 kV Sheberghan-Dasht Alvan imported line project, one of the most important energy transmission projects in the country, has now reached 95 percent progress and will soon be fully operational.
This line, with a transmission capacity of 1,000 megawatts of electricity, was implemented with the aim of increasing electricity imports from Central Asian countries and its stable and reliable transmission into the country.
According to the Breshna Company, with the completion and full activation of this project, it will be possible to provide 24-hour electricity to 12 provinces, including Kabul.
The company emphasized that the operation of the Sheberghan-Dasht Alwan line will not only significantly reduce electricity shortages and improve network load management, but will also pave the way for economic development, the expansion of industrial activities, and the improvement of public services throughout Afghanistan.
Breshna Company has described this project as one of the major infrastructure achievements in the country’s energy sector.
