Ahmad Yasini wins German state para-sailing bronze medal
Ahmad Yasini, a former national athlete of the Afghan Paralympic Committee, won a bronze medal in the German state para-rowing competition.
This Afghan disabled athlete participated in an event held in the German city of Cottbus in the individual and team categories over two distances of 6 kilometers and 12 kilometers, and took third place.
These competitions were organized by the German National Olympic Committee among athletes from 12 states of the country, including Yasini.
Officials from the Afghan Paralympic Committee described this achievement as a “great honor for disabled sports in the country” and emphasized that Yasini’s success is an inspiring role model for the younger generation.
