In an interview with Al Jazeera, Colombian President Gustavo O Petro addressed the Zionist regime and stated that those accused of genocide in Gaza should be arrested and handed over to the International Criminal Court (ICC).
In this interview, Petro emphasized that statements condemning Israeli crimes in Palestine are not enough and that the use of force is needed to confront the occupation.
He accused Israel of committing genocide in Gaza and called for immediate action to stop these crimes.
These statements were made despite Colombia having previously severed diplomatic relations with Israel over the Gaza war and joining the genocide case at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
Petro has also supported the formation of a UN armed force at the UN General Assembly to end the genocide in Gaza.
